Kia Seltos 2024, A new light bar across the back and a more modern front design will be featured on the new Seltos subcompact SUV.Photos of the new Seltos for the Korean market have been released by Kia. The American market should get this upgrade for the 2024 model year.
With new taillights and a somewhat broader front grille, the exterior has been updated. A head-up display and a sizable screen on the dash are both within the Seltos.
Pictures of the Seltos for the Korean market, which include an updated exterior and interior, have been made public by Kia. Although we do not yet know the specifics for the United States, we are hopeful that similar changes will soon be made in North America. We expect similar changes for the 2024 Seltos since Kia already disclosed details on the essentially carryover 2023 Seltos.
The subcompact SUV, which shares a chassis with the Hyundai Kona, has some nice aesthetic changes. Here, the updated design is shown by a two-tone exterior paint job with a light blue body and a black roof, as well as newly redesigned daytime running lights and an elevated grille. The taillights have also been altered, and the rear now has a sleek light strip that runs the length of the car.
A new set of display panels that mimic those seen in many other recent Kia vehicles are among the inside changes. The infotainment screen on the right and the digital gauge cluster on the left are located in the same compartment, and we also saw what seemed to be a head-up display. The choice of upholstery options may now include the brown leather seen above, and ambient lighting may also be incorporated. The typical gear lever is replaced with a rotary-style shifter, however we’re not sure whether it will be offered in the US.
The 2023 Seltos has improved sound deadening and additional safety measures, according to Kia, while we wait for the updated 2024 model. The 2023 Seltos start at $24,185, while the 2024 could have a little price increase. The Seltos now offers a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four with 175 horsepower as an option in addition to the regular 2.0-liter inline-four with naturally aspirated 146 horsepower. On our highway fuel economy test, the turbo Seltos achieved 30 mpg when traveling at 75 mph. Although Kia should provide more information in the coming months, we are unsure whether the engine will change for the 2024 model.
